The low salt content and pH of Biosol make it ideal for berries – it is suited for all cultures requiring a slightly acidic soil.
Raspberry
Raspberries have a low nitrogen demand, but require organic substance and acidic fertilizers. Biosol, applied in early spring, is ideal with regard to nitrogen supply, soil improvement and in particular the mycorrhiza in the soil, which is very important for cultures like raspberries.
Blueberry
Blueberries have very moderate nutrient demands. The salt content, pH and the organic substance make Biosol an ideal fertilizer for blueberries.
Black/red Currant
Currants require nitrogen already in early spring for vegetative growth. Fertilization in late autumn is recommended so that it will be released in time.
Strawberry
Strawberries can be fertilized 2 weeks before planting or in autumn for soil improvement.
