Biosol - the natural way to better yields

When replanting, the fertilizer may be added topically to the rows while setting plants.

Plants are fertilized with up to 900 kg of Biosol/hectare in late autumn or early spring. The fertilizer application rate may be reduced for older plants depending on the yield and rate of uptake.

Biosol improves the inner or biological quality of apples. This has been verified by a study conducted by Prof. Keppel, Landwirtschaftliches Versuchszentrum Steiermark, Haidegg (agricultural experimental centre Styria, Austria): apples fertilized with Biosol had the lowest P-value and therefore the highest quality.

The maximum yield is not the major target when fertilizing vines. The priorities are soil improvement, strengthening of the plants and increase in quality. Biosol can meet these requirements.

A study conducted by Prof. Solar of the Universität für Bodenkultur (University of Natural Resources and Applied Life Sciences Vienna) revealed that fertilization with Biosol reduced the botrytis disease of grapes and increased the sugar content.

A study conducted by the Universität für Bodenkultur,Vienna  showed that Biosol can cover the high nitrogen demand of tomatoes easily due to - in comparison to other organic fertilizers-  rapid nitrogen mineralization.
In a trial conducted by the FIBL of Switzerland, those areas that were fertilized with Biosol showed significantly less infestation with downy mildew.
